Celebrate the new Film Scope with DJ Yoda

With the launch of the new Film Scope on the Ubuntu phone, users can now watch movie trailers, read reviews and discover film choices. We’ve managed to get Sci-Fi fan and famous DJ Yoda on-board to be part of a new competition we’re launching.

We’re inviting the public to create their own Sci-Fi film GIFS where DJ Yoda will judge the best. All we ask is that you be as creative and original as possible!

Here’s how to enter:

  • Create your most original Sci-Fi film GIF
  • Upload to Twitter with hashtag #UbuntuGoesSciFi
  • Keep the force with you as DJ Yoda judges!

Winning prizes for the top three include:

1st: Meet and Greet DJ Yoda, Pair of Bestival music tickets (including luxury camping and 2x Flights) and an Ubuntu Phone
2nd: CD album ‘The Breakfast of Champions’ from DJ Yoda and an Ubuntu Phone
3rd: An Ubuntu Phone

We close on Tuesday 25th August at 5pm (BST) – can’t wait to see your entries!

DJ Yoda is a famous hip-hop turntablist who’s one of the world’s finest manipulators of music and moving image. He’s a winner of the DMC DJ of the year, a regular guest on BBC Radio 1 and has been nominated by Q Magazine as a ‘Top Ten DJ to see before you Die.’
